Stay informed with live outage data mapped directly to your location. The app displays interactive map pins showing exactly which areas are experiencing power cuts right now. Tap any pin to access detailed information including the fault reference number, the time power went off, and when you can expect service restoration. For each outage, you'll find the emergency service centre number to call for more information or to report additional power cuts affecting your area. The summary list view gives you a quick overview of all reported incidents without needing to navigate the map.

Receive automatic push notifications by registering for alerts on current power cuts. These notifications keep you updated with critical timestamps—when the next status update is due, when an engineer is expected to arrive, and crucially, when the fault should be fixed. Real-time tracking means you're never left guessing about restoration times. Once a fault is resolved, it automatically disappears from the app and notifications stop, ensuring you only see active outages.

The intelligent mapping system handles multiple concurrent outages seamlessly. When several power cuts occur in the same region, a merged pin appears in the centre of the affected area. Zoom in and the merged pin splits into individual fault pins, giving you granular detail exactly when you need it. During severe weather events affecting large portions of the network, Power Track switches to area-wide updates rather than tracking individual faults, keeping information clear and actionable.

Power Track aims to update its mapping system in real time where possible, so you get the freshest data available. All information—fault reference numbers, expected engineer arrival times, and estimated resolution times—appears only when available, ensuring transparency without false promises.
